Belonging Advisory Committee Application
  • Belonging Advisory Committee Application

The Belonging Advisory Committee is established to guide and inform Delta Gamma’s strategic efforts related to belonging, equity, inclusion, and diversity. Its work is grounded in a commitment to fostering an environment where all members experience a meaningful sense of belonging, with particular attention to those whose identities have been historically underrepresented. The committee will meet a minimum of every other month. In addition to scheduled meetings, members may be asked to review materials and provide feedback between meetings. The anticipated time commitment is approximately 5–7 hours per month. The committee is led by the Fraternity Director: Belonging and the assist the director in all belonging efforts. Applications will open May 10 and close June 19. The Belonging Advisory Committee is composed of individuals who bring demonstrated experience and perspective related to belonging, equity, inclusion, and diversity through their professional, volunteer, and/or lived experiences. Members may be Delta Gammas or non-members who have reached the age of majority in their state. The committee is intentionally structured to reflect a range of voices and perspectives that strengthen Delta Gamma’s commitment to belonging across all member experiences. Grounded in the framework of Research, Review, and Recommend, the committee plays a key role in advancing this work by identifying emerging needs and trends, evaluating existing programs and resources, and providing informed recommendations to enhance policy, practice, and member experience. Membership will consist of 8–12 individuals who collectively contribute to a thoughtful, forward-looking approach to belonging within Delta Gamma. Questions?
